The conventional standard axle shock absorbers on the market are designed for a weight range that is too high (e.g. 0 to 4.0 t). Optimal damping is only possible with medium trailer weights (2.0 t).

The lower weight range is overdamped. The effect is the trailer jumping and bumping. In the upper weight range was underdamped. The result: a barely noticeable improvement in driving safety.
