Insulated 'Slipper' torque wrench 3/8 inch / D 5 - 25Nm
For work on Hybrid & Electric vehicles (high voltage vehicles).
A fully insulated torque wrench manufactured to IEC60900 2012 standards for 1000 vAC / 1500 vDC live applications.
Ideal for use on hybrid and electric vehicles. This torque wrench uses a "slipper" release mechanism instead of a traditional click mechanism.
When the wrench reaches the set torque, it slips and continues to slip until the load is removed.
Any subsequent application of torque will cause the wrench to continue to slip to ensure,
that the set limits cannot be accidentally overridden, as can happen with more conventional click wrenches.
- The "slipper" wrench helps reduce the likelihood of accidental over-torque. Ideal for low torque electrical fasteners.
- Range: 5 - 25 Nm (4 - 18 lb-ft). Ratcheting mechanism with 43 teeth; 3/8 in. T x 265mm long.
- Switchable ratchet, "slipper" feature allows for both RH and LH applications.
- Accuracy: +/- 6% tolerance from set scale value.
- All laser torque wrenches (mechanical and digital) are supplied with a certificate of conformity and calibration issued at the time of manufacture in accordance with ISO6789-1:2017
